Early on Saturday morning, October 24, 2026, Lions from the Freedom District Lions Club pulled on their gloves and headed out for our latest road cleanup, meeting at 7:30 AM at Irving Ruby Road and Route 32.
Five Lions worked for about an hour and 45 minutes and filled 17 bags with litter and trash collected along the roadside. It’s quiet, unglamorous work, but it makes a real difference in how our community looks.
Thank you to the five Lions who served: Bob Parks, Jim Moore, Ron Audlin, John Dozsa, and Jeff Zumbrun.
Want to lend a hand? Road cleanups are a great way to give back, get some fresh air, and spend time with fellow Lions. Just bring gloves and waterproof footwear. Learn more about our environmental projects.
