In November 2013, the FDLC announced the establishment of the Freedom Lions Academic Grant (FLAG) to assist the elementary, middle and high schools in our community.  This grant is in the form of a separate $500.00 award to three (3) of the nine public schools in our area on a rotation basis each year subject to the availability of funding.  These grants are to be used to directly benefit the students at the schools and is another example of funds raised in the community by the Freedom District Lions Club being returned to the community.
