Even as a new Lion, you can aspire to some awards almost immediately. You can get awards for inviting new members to join a Lions Club or for helping form a new club. There are awards presented for longevity of membership, outstanding service activities, PR initiatives and leadership excellence. In the last few months, we have recognized several of our members for their outstanding service activities, membership initiatives, and leadership excellence through such awards as : District Governor Medal of Commendation, Melvin Jones Fellowship, District Honor Roll, and Knights of the Blind.
