On April 13, 2025 volunteers from the Freedom District Lions Club and the Friends of Liberty Reservoir held a successful liter retrieval event on Liberty Reservoir property off of Deer Park Road. Volunteers spent several hours there and collected approximately 1,000 pounds of trash. The two service organizations do this monthly.
