Kevin Shiloh, President, Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department (left) accepts a check from Melissa Turski, 1st Vice President, Freedom District Lions Club. The volunteer organizations have had an excellent working relationship since the Lions club was chartered in 1947. Long time Lion and a 3 time President Don Champ (right) introduced Shiloh to the members and spoke about some of the past activities of the 2 organizations.
