Lion Myron Horn, a member of the Freedom District Lions Club (FDLC) had the Lions Emblem painted on his head by Emma Olson during the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department carnival held June 10 – June 17, 2023. Emma is a 15 year old Sophomore at Century High School. She is an active member of Scout Troop 417G in Sykesville and has been doing Face Paint at the Fire Department booth at the carnival for two years. The FDLC operates the French Fry Stand and has a Lions Information table at the carnival every year.
