At their annual Education Night held at Celebration Hall, Messiah Lutheran Church in Berrett on May 24, 2023, the Freedom District Lions Club (FDLC) recognized and honored their scholarship recipients from Liberty High School and Century High School. Lion Jane Jung Jung-Potter, Co-chair of the club’s Educational Services Committee summarized each student’s academic accomplishments as well as their school and community leadership and service activities. The Liberty High School scholarship winner was Logan Cyford and the winner from Century High School was Ashlynn Kidwell.
