Freedom District Lions Club (FDLC) joined the MD Department of Natural Resources and local volunteers at Soldier’s Delight Natural Environment Area in their new Serpentine Ecosystem Restoration Project (SERP).  The team removed saplings of various non-native species from park areas, including Virginia Pine, holly, and cedar.  The park employees were very appreciative and looking forward to a long collaborative relationship with FDLC.
