Helen Keller referred to the members of the Lions Clubs as her “Knights of the Blind”. As part of Lions Club Pillar #2 (Vision), the Freedom District Lions Club collects previously owned eyeglasses and hearing aids, which are recycled/refurbished for those in need elsewhere in the world. You can drop them off in our Lions boxes at a number of Eldersburg/Sykesville locations:
