On Friday, June 16, 2023, members of the Freedom District Lions Club Preschool Vision Screening Committee joined the Eldersburg Branch of the Carroll County Library for their Summer Reading Celebration. The Lions offer a quick, simple, free screening for preschool children with our specialized camera, the Plus Optics, throughout the school year and were pleased to join the Library in their summer kick-off. Lions Diane Torockio and Steve Reese manned the cameras (one borrowed from the Deer Park Lions Club) and screened 30 children.
