During December, the Freedom District Lions Club collected and boxed up five (5) boxes of used eye glasses, sunglasses and eye cases for recycling. Donations totaled 301 eye glasses, 170 glasses cases, 81 pairs of sunglasses, and 12 hearing aids.

Since July 1, 2024, FDLC has collected a total of 1301 eye glasses and 19 hearing aids for recycling!
