Are you looking for a way to serve your community together with your kids? One of our projects is Operation Joy, which, as the name suggests, bring smiles to our friends! On Sunday last week, two Lions, two staff, and two parents with their child conducted a bingo session for ten residents at Inspirations Memory Care. Once again, the residents enjoyed chocolate candy prizes. The youth from the community enjoyed assisting the Lions. Thirteen-year-old Keeghan called the Bingo numbers and Eric watched the cards to ensure residents did not miss a chance to win. Even though several residents needed coaching to place their bingo markers, they enjoyed playing and we enjoyed seeing them smile and laugh! The best part of the visit for the residents was ending with ice cream sundaes with sprinkles and cholate syrup. The Lions and parents enjoyed seeing the interaction and support of the youth, for the residents as well as their joy when a resident made bingo!
