Operation Joy returned to Inspirations on Friday, July 17, 2026. Karaoke was the activity of the day! With the help of Rachel, a wonderful nurse at Inspiration, we carried on with all the favorite songs and lyrics we have grown to love!

“Sweet Caroline” kicked us off, with friends and staff clapping and singing. Our regular favorites, “Country Roads,” “America the Beautiful,” and “Jailhouse Rock” were big hits today. Michael danced to “Footloose,” Jack sang along to “Hit the Road Jack,” and Ray and Gail were in top form, dancing through several numbers. One of the best moments was for our friend Vicky, who requested an Eagles song; we were finally able to sing and dance to “Take It Easy.” It was a fun, fabulous, and fantastic morning.

Tina, Ralph, Carole, and Mary Ann were joined by Kim and Rachel to make this morning another wonderful experience for our friends, and absolutely for us as well.
