On Thursday, August 22, 2024, 10 Lions from the Freedom District Lions Club, 12 members of the Century High School Leo Club, and 5 members of the Liberty High School Leo Club along with the teacher advisors from both schools met at Walmart in Eldersburg to purchase school supplies for 5 area elementary schools.

This is an annual project of the 3 service clubs. They spent $2715.90 to provide two sets of supplies for each grade (using the schools’ supply list). The elementary schools receiving the supplies are Carrolltowne, Freedom, Eldersburg, Linton Springs and Piney Ridge.
