The Freedom District Lions Club Trail & Parks Clean Up & Maintenance Committee consistently beautifies our community. On April 28, of 5 Lions performed trail inspection and trash pick-up at Freedom park. A lot of litter was picked up, resulting in 4 full trash bags placed in the dumpster in the first parking lot to the left. More litter was collected on the back of the park in the soccer fields, along wth a significantly heavy amount of litter on Raincliffe Road on the right and left of the park entrance.
