Annually, Freedom District Lions Club presents educational grants to the schools in our servicing district. This year Freedom Elementary School, Piney Ridge Elementary School, and Oklahoma Road Middle School were the recipients of the grant. At our most recent business meeting on May 8, Principal Jessica Smith was in attendance to receive the grant for Freedom Elementary school and shared that these funds would be utilized to help children in need pay for school meals and field trips.
